Leili Estaki grew up in Tehran, Iran and move to the United States in 1997. She received her BA from the San Jose State University and her MFA degree in Photography from the Academy of Art University. Through her education she has developed her signature style of incorporating still imagery with alternative processing and mixed media, which is greatly influenced by her birthplace, and her religion.
